We are Family ! in Jeonju ( Chonju ), Korean チョンジュ（全州：韓国 ) Vol. 01

I taraveled alone in Korea for 5 days. ( 1th 〜 5th on Oct. )
五日間の韓国旅行に行ってきました。（１０月１日～５日）

Now, it has passed just a week from meeting Lee family. This travel has made a deep impression on me yet.
リーさんご家族と出会って一週間が経ちました。
でもその感動は未ださめ止むことがありません。

On my way to go to Korea, a student who sat next seat in the airplane said to me. ” We have “the Bon Festival” from 2th to 4th on Oct. in this year in Korea. No open any shop. And you cannot return because of the Bon Festival.” I was very surprised to hear that.
ソウル行きの機内で隣り合わせた韓国の留学生にびっくりするお話を聞かされました。「１０月２日～４日は韓国の旧盆にあたり、街の商店街はほとんどお休みです。地方に行っても予約が一杯で帰って来れないよ」と。

But I headed Jeonju ( Chonju ) where is 100 km away from Seoul toward the south. The city is very beautiful with tradition and nature. Second day in my travel, I could arrive there. and I had a dream time.
私はソウルから南に１００km ほど離れたチョンジュ（全州）という街を目指していました。チョンジュ（全州）は伝統と自然の残る美しい街です。二日目の夜には目的地のチョンジュに到着し、そこで夢のようなひとときを過ごしてきました。

I arrived at Jeonju (Chonju) Core Rivera Hotel Over 19 o’clock in the night. As soon as I finished checking in the hotel, A Korean family was called to me to stop and got an invitation for a dinner.
Of course, my answer was “Yes”.
チョンジュ（全州）のコアリベラホテルに到着したときは、夜の７時を回っていました。チェックインを済ませるや否や、ある韓国のご家族に夕食のご招待を受けました。もちろん、私のご返事は「喜んで！」です。

We ate “Jeonju Bibimbap” in full cource. It was called one of major foods of Joseon dynasty. It was wirtten by the pamphlet of the cuty that Jeonju Bibimbap is made of 30 or so ingredients and is one of Korea’s representaitive foods added by balanced nutrition.
朝鮮時代の三代料理の一つ、全州ビビンパプをフルコースでご馳走になりました。「全州ビビンパプは３０余りの材料を入れ、複雑な調理過程を真心を込めて完成される」そうです。（全州のパンフレットより）

Secondly we went to Korean tea house. When we drunk Korean tea, the father order Makgeolli ( Korean traditional rice alcohol ) which called “Borju” in Jeonju. It’s very nice of me with not only lightly taste but also deeply like a Chinese (herb) medicine.
次のお店で私たちはお茶をしました。そのときにお父さんの飲んでいたお酒がボージュ。ボージュはマッコリ（韓国の伝統的なお酒）の一つで、チョンジュ（全州）の地酒です。私はこのお酒の口当たりの良さと医食同源を思わせる深い味わいにすっかり魅せられました。

Thirdly, we went to drink the Borju. It took about 15 minutes by car far from the tea house to next house. Perhaps only local people use it. Then not  only Borju ( Jeonju Makgeolli ) but also some of foods were arranged. I was impressed Korean rice cake ( because of  ” the Bon Festival “, perhaps ) and a broken pot. ( This means traveler usually doesn’t come here ! )
その後私たちはボージュを飲みに行くために、車を約１５分走らせました。おそらく地元の人しか来ることのないお店です。少しこわれたおやかんが私にそっとささやいてくれていました。このおやかんに入ったボージュがとても味わい深いものでした。「旧盆」とあって、お祝いの席で出される韓国のお餅も出されました。

At the begining of this contents, I wrote a student said “No open any shop….”. It was not joke. Buy maybe, they can have three holidays in this period with their family. So some shop must open in the same of Japan !
ソウルに向かう機内で学生さんにお店はみんな閉まっているよと言われました。それは決して間違いではなかったのですけれど、韓国の人たちにとっての旧盆は、家族団らんで過ごせる三連休。開いている店はやはり開いています。日本だって同じですよね。

I was impressed ” We are Family ! ” said the father agin and again in this night.
「私たちは家族です。」
その日ご家族のお父さんが繰り返し言ってくれたそのひと言が忘れられません。

The taravel like a dream was continued….
夢のような旅行はまだ続きます。
